PROJECT SALES CONSULTANT

An established premium design and lifestyle resource in Singapore, Space has further raised the standards of contract solutions with recent completion of large-scale projects from residential to workplaces and even the aviation sector. The Space contract team works alongside the best architects, designers and developers in the industry.

With our Bencoolen Street showroom positioned as Space Asia Hub of a gross area of over 40,000 sq ft, Space Furniture is currently seeking a Project Sales Consultant to work within the Project Sales Team in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • As a representative of Space, to effectively present Space product ranges to both design professionals and developers with a view of getting products from Space specified or purchased with particular emphasis on commercial joinery of both wardrobes and kitchens across any brands that Space represents.
  • To achieve monthly targets & exceed assigned annual sales targets given to individual salespersons.
  • To proactively connect with designer, architects, and developers through presentation of commercial joinery of both wardrobes and kitchens across any brands that Space represents to develop new business.
  • To follow-up actively with existing assigned project accounts.
  • To work closely with the Project Sales Manager to organise and participate in various activities to foster closer relationship with clients.
  • To assist in attending to assigned walk-in retail customers as and when required particularly during sales promotion periods.
  • To ensure the overall presentation standards of the joinery in assigned showroom is excellent at all times. This will be in respect of Poliform/Varenna products presented in the respective locations in Bencoolen showroom, with particular emphasis on kitchens and wardrobes setting and cleanliness.
  • Any other duties which may be assigned relating to area of responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Degree Holder or its equivalent
  • Good command of spoken and written English is preferred
  • Strong drive to succeed in achieving sales targets
  • Able to read floor plans with relevant commercial sales experience in imported joinery industry is highly preferred.
  • Possess excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships.
  • Confident and comfortable in making formal presentations to the professional audience
  • Pleasant personality with an appreciation of the work ethos required in the high end design and/or furniture industry
  • Strong customer service skills and sales techniques
  • Independent and yet a team player who can work well with superiors and peers
