Marc Sadler
Marc Sadler was born in Austria. He is a French citizen and at present lives in Milan. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs. Paris, in 1968. Devoted from the start to the experimentation with plastic materials in the 1970s he designed the very first ski-boot in thermoplastic material. This represented the origin of his specialisation as a designer for the sports sector but also opened up opportunities within the furniture industry. Today he works with firms in the fields of home furnishing, big and small household appliances and lighting. Marc Sadler is also a talented artist in drawing, painting and sculpture and is well know for his successful collaborations with Italian lighting company Foscarini.
