The Pablo sofa by Vincent Van Duysen, with its decisive design and innovative proportions, is available in an outdoor version, breathing life into a series that includes an armchair in two depths, sofa, and footrest. The soul of the original project lies in the wood frame, which for Pablo Outdoor is made of teak, the ideal material for outdoors.
Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen was born in Lokeren, Belgium, in 1962, and undertook a degree in Architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint Lucas, Ghent. Afterwards Van Duysen worked in Milan collaborating with Aldo Cibic, after which, he worked with Jean De Meulder in Antwerp, Belgium.
In 1990, Vincent Van Duysen Architects was established and today has grown into a team of more than twenty collaborators. Projects range from product design for numerous international brands, over commercial to bigger scale architectural projects, with a focus on high-end residences. During his career, Vincent Van Duysen has received multiple awards among which recently the ‘Flemish Culture Prize for Design’ and ‘Belgian Designer of The Year’. In 2018 Vincent Van Duysen was appointed part of the creative lead for the product development of Sahco for Kvadrat.
